MARKHAM, ON, Nov. 15, 2011 /CNW/ - Nightingale Informatix
Corporation ("Nightingale" or "Company"), an application service
provider (ASP) of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and
related services, today announces that its leading EMR and practice
management solution, Nightingale On Demand, will be implemented at
the Trafalgar Sheddon Family Health Organization, a comprehensive
family practice located in Oakville, Ontario which provides
maternity care, urgent care, minor office surgeries, chronic
disease management, and x-ray and lab availability on-site. 22
Primary Care Physicians and allied health professionals, including
nurses and nurse practitioners at the Trafalgar Sheddon Family
Health Organization, have selected Nightingale On Demand (NOD), the
number one rated ASP EMR in Ontario. NOD will be rolled out under
the Ontario MD EMR adoption program (www.ontariomd.ca) to Trafalgar
Sheddon's six clinics across Oakville and Milton. "We are delighted
to have the opportunity to work with the Trafalgar Sheddon Family
Health Organization (FHO), said John Bodolai, Executive Vice
President of Nightingale. "The Trafalgar Sheddon FHO delivers a
high level of service to patients in their community and they
required an EMR Company that could equally deliver a high level of
service and support to them. Nightingale is the recognized industry
leader in customer service with proven success implementing its EMR
in Family Health Organizations (FHO), Family Health Groups (FHG)
and Family Health Teams (FHT) in Ontario", said John. "We are
confident the dedicated team of professionals at the Trafalgar
Sheddon FHO will be very successful in their EMR implementation of
NOD." "We undertook a very detailed and rigorous selection process,
evaluating EMR vendors based on product capabilities, innovation,
financial stability and their ability to deliver on commitments,"
said Dr. Mary Zamora, EMR Lead and Associate Lead Physician at
Trafalgar Sheddon FHO. "We were impressed with Nightingale's
vision, responsiveness, focus on customer service and their
professionalism during every step of the process. "Some of our
physicians are implementing an EMR for the first time and others in
our group are migrating from a legacy EMR -Nightingale was very
accommodating to address the needs of each of our physicians and
staff members." The Trafalgar Sheddon Family Health Organization is
comprised of The Trafalgar Medical Centre, Sheddon Avenue Medical
Associates and four other solo physicians. Trafalgar Sheddon is not

previously on a legacy EMR system. The group worked with a third
party consulting company to assess the EMR market and assist in the
EMR selection process. The Family Health Organization is led by Dr.
Kris Martiniuk who is headquartered at the Sheddon Avenue Medical
Associates practice, with Dr. Zamora acting as Associate lead.
