ALBION PETROLEUM LTD. ("Albion" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:ABP.H) is
pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jacqueline Danforth as Chief
Financial Officer of the Corporation.


Ms. Danforth has extensive public company experience having sat on the board of
multiple reporting issuers, both in Canada and the United States over the past
15 years, spanning several industry segments including food, oil and gas,
technology and research and development. With an educational background in
chemistry and accounting, Ms. Danforth has spent her career since 1996 actively
working on the management, administrative and financial reporting aspects of
small businesses reporting to both Canadian and U.S. securities exchanges. She
has served as the Chief Financial Officer for a variety of reporting issuers,
managing the quarterly and annual financial reporting process, coordination of
annual audits, business plan creation, budgeting and cash flow projections, as
well as shareholder presentations.


Presently Ms. Danforth operates her own consulting company in Alberta, Canada,
Filer Support Services Inc., providing Edgar and Sedar regulatory filing
services for the US and Canada.
