BKN International A.G. issues 4.2 million new shares



BKN International A.G. ("BKN" or "the Company"), a global animation company
engaged in the distribution and marketing of animated children's television
programmes and related consumer products, today announces it has completed a
share capital increase through a placing of 4.2 million new shares at Euro 1.5
per share.  The total gross proceeds are Euro 6.3 million.  Application is being
made for admission of these shares to trading on AIM and dealings are expected
to commence on 23 December 2003.



This placing will allow the Company to expand and consolidate its business in
the UK and Europe, and market its forthcoming feature production, "Legend of the
Dragon"



Allen Bohbot, Chairman and Chief Executive of BKN International A.G., said:  "As
a German company that earlier this month obtained the first fast track listing
of an AG on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, we are encouraged by
the successful placing of the new shares.  This enhances our ability to develop
further the company's UK-based business."



Brown Shipley is Broker to the Company.  Maclay Murray & Spens is acting as
solicitor to the Company.  Teather & Greenwood is acting as Nominated Adviser.
