Unilever's Hindustan Stake Would Increase to 67.28% After Offer

LONDON-- Unilever PLC (ULVR.LN), the maker of Wall's ice cream
and Dove soap, said Thursday that its stake in Indian consumer
goods subsidiary Hindustan Unilever Ltd would rise from 52.48% to
67.28% based on the shares tendered during the tender period for
the open offer.
MAIN FACTS:
-Shareholders of Hindustan Unilever tendered 319.7 million
shares during the tender period.
-The offer price of 600 rupees per share values the transaction
at approximately INR191.8 billion.
-Shares tendered represent 14.8% of Hindustan Unilever.
-Shares closed Thursday at 2,741 pence valuing the company at
GBP33.97 billion.
