today announced that Gerard M.
Dombek, currently President of its Precoat Metals business,
has been named President and Chief Executive Officer by the Sequa
Board of Directors.

Precoat Metals is a U.S.-based supplier of metal coating
products that serve multiple industries including consumer goods,
packaging, appliance manufacturing, housing and construction, and
garage and entry door manufacturing.
Under Dombek's leadership the company grew to become the largest
metal coating supplier in the U.S., with 13 metal coil coating
facilities strategically located throughout the US.
Dombek joined Precoat Metals in 1975 and since then has held
several leadership positions, bringing expertise and excellence to
a wide range of positions. Earlier he was Vice President,
Operations, and prior to that served as Director, Manufacturing and
Operations. He held other leadership roles in the organization.
He is a member of the National Coil Coaters Association and
served two terms on its Board of Directors. He is also a member of
the Metal Service Center Institute. He graduated from the
University of Missouri, Rolla, (now the
Missouri University of Science and
Technology) with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
management.
