Spirit AeroSystems Completes 787 Contract Amendment with Boeing

WICHITA, Kan., May 17, 2011 /CNW/ -- Spirit AeroSystems Holdings,
Inc. (NYSE: SPR) announced today it has signed the formal contract
amendment with The Boeing Company regarding certain claims
associated with the development and production of the 787-8
airplane. The amendment completes the previously announced
memorandum of agreement. "With this agreement we continue to
reinforce our partnership with our largest customer as we work
together for the long-term success of the 787 program," said Phil
Anderson, Spirit Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

fuselage, engine pylons, and wing leading edge components for the
