Item 8.01Other Events.

On February 23, 2024 the Registrant issued a press release announcing that its Board has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 20 cents per share on its common stock.  The dividend will be payable March 29, 2024 to shareholders of record on March 15, 2024.  A copy of the press release announcing the payment and record dates is attached as Exhibit 99.1.

Mueller Industries, Inc. Announces 33 Percent Increase in Quarterly Dividend
 
COLLIERVILLE, Tenn., February 23, 2024 – For the fourth consecutive year, Mueller Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MLI) has announced a double digit increase to its quarterly dividend.

The Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $.20 per share, to be paid on March 29, 2024 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on March 15, 2024. This represents a 33 percent increase over the 2023 quarterly dividend.
