Automotive News World Congress Keynote Address TOLEDO, Ohio, Jan.
18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Michael J. Burns, Chairman and CEO of
Dana Corporation (NYSE:DCN), yesterday encouraged automotive

helping the industry realize its full potential. Mr. Burns made the
remarks Monday evening during a kickoff address to global
automotive industry leaders gathered for the 29th annual Automotive
News World Congress in Dearborn, Mich. (Logo:

on both sides of the customer-supplier relationship, I am convinced
that a collaborative future is the only way we will ever realize
our mutual potential," Mr. Burns said during the address. "This is
arguably the most significant industry in the world," he added.
"But this status does not afford us the luxury of simply plodding
ahead and doing things 'the way we've always done it.' The
challenges we face today mean we must drive harder, be more
efficient, more capable, and add more value. But even more
fundamental is the need to work together." Mr. Burns added, "The
operative question is, 'Are we better off working individually -
essentially representing our own interests - or working together on
important issues and benefiting from the strength of the world's
most significant industry?' I believe the answer is clear. We must
work together." Mr. Burns' remarks were delivered at the Hyatt
Regency Dearborn, site of this year's Automotive News World
Congress. Mr. Burns and Chrysler Group President and CEO Dieter
Zetsche served as co-keynote speakers at the conference. Dana
