In connection with the transition by James E. Evans, a current member of the American Financial Group, Inc. (the “Company”) Board of
Directors, from his role as an officer and employee of the Company to that of executive consultant, in 2014, the Company and Mr. Evans entered into a consulting agreement which, as amended, terminates on December 31, 2023. On December 19, 2023,
the Company and Mr. Evans renewed the consulting agreement for 2024 on the same terms as in effect for 2023.
