Other Events.
 
On January 18, 2024, South Plains Financial, Inc. issued a press release announcing the declaration of a quarterly cash dividend of $0.13 per share on its outstanding common stock.  The dividend will be paid on February 12, 2024 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on January 29, 2024.  A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

LUBBOCK, Texas, January 18, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – South Plains Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPFI) (“South Plains”), the parent company of City Bank, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.13 per share of common stock. The dividend is payable on February 12, 2024 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on January 29, 2024.
