Simplifies Government Interaction for Stafford County Businesses

The Stafford County Commissioner of the Revenue announced the launch of the myStafford E-filing application for business, a new service for businesses operating within Stafford County to file and pay business fiduciary taxes online. Available through the award winning myStafford Customer Portal, business filers can now enroll and associate their business account(s) or add their businesses to their existing myStafford account for convenient one-stop access to all of their Stafford County billing accounts.

“We are excited to offer a new convenient and efficient way for businesses in Stafford County to file their taxes online,” said Scott Mayausky, Stafford County Commissioner of the Revenue. “The E-filing application is another leap forward for Stafford County eGovernment and to carry on that momentum, we are working to provide more features and greater value for our businesses in the near future.”

The application provides a secure, mobile-friendly way for businesses to e-file monthly fiduciary remittances for meals tax, transient occupancy tax, consumption and utility taxes, and quarterly fiduciary remittances for short term rental tax. E-filing users can upload necessary supporting documentation and make payments securely using e-check or credit card. Transaction history and account management features are also readily available on the E-filing dashboard. Planned enhancements include new business registration, business closer reporting, meals tax registration, annual business personal property filing registration, new resident filing, tax payer change form, and more.

The myStafford E-filing application is a product of a partnership between the Stafford County Commissioner of the Revenue, the Stafford County Treasurer’s Office, and Virginia Interactive, part of the NIC family of eGovernment service providers, making life more convenient and simple for the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
