The City of Winfield is now accepting credit card payments, providing residents with a convenient way to pay for many of the Town’s fees and charges. Residents wishing to pay for services online may visit the City’s website at http://www.cityofwinfield.net.

“We are extremely excited to now be accepting credit card payments online and at Town Hall,” said Randy L. Barrett, Mayor of Winfield. “We are always looking for ways to improve the services we provide to our community and giving our residents the option to pay municipal bills and fees using a credit card is definitely a step in the right direction.”

Services currently payable by credit card include:

  • B&O Taxes
  • Building Permits
  • Cemetery Lot
  • Cemetery Monument (Marking Fee)
  • Contractor License
  • Grave Opening
  • Municipal License
  • Sewer Bills
  • Sewer Deposit
  • Traffic Citations

The City of Winfield partnered with WV.gov to provide the payment processing service via WViPay. This solution is specifically designed for state and municipal governments to process credit card payments over-the-counter and online.
