The statewide personal and real estate property tax payment
deadline is October 15.
County property taxes are used to fund a variety of services in
Arkansas including public education, libraries, police and fire,
local infrastructure and emergency medical services. Citizens can
avoid penalties and late fees by paying their property taxes online
or over-the-phone before the October 15 deadline.
“County taxes fund our schools, hospitals, libraries, jails and
County government and so, it’s really important that citizens
understand their property taxes directly support their communities.
Pulaski County provides a convenient online property tax payment
service through our partnership with the Information Network of
Arkansas. We introduced this payment method several years ago and
it has been extremely helpful in getting tax payments in on time,”
said Debra Buckner, Pulaski County Treasurer.
Forty-five counties across the state offer secure online payment
options for personal property and real estate taxes. These counties
take credit and debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express,
and Discover) and electronic checks. See what county payment
options are available at www.ar-tax.org.
The online and over-the-phone personal property and real estate
tax payment services available in most Arkansas counties are easy
to use and convenient for local taxpayers and citizens deployed or
living abroad. Taxpayers just need their parcel or tax-id numbers,
which are provided on their tax statements, in order to complete a
tax payment transaction. The online service also has a search
feature to locate this information by name or address and provides
a confirmation and printable receipt upon completion.
