                            ("MEM" or "the Company")

                            Statement re Suspension

Further to the trading update announced by the Company on 16 July 2007, which
included a statement of the Company's financial position, the Board of Directors
of MEM has met with its bankers and advisers to explore funding and strategic
alternatives to cover the shortfall arising from the legacy debt and integration
costs incurred as a result of the UGD/Britannia Music acquisition in October
2006.  Following these discussions, the Board is of the view that sufficient
further debt or equity funding or other strategic alternatives will not be
forthcoming.  The Company's shares have been suspended from trading on AIM and
the Directors have requested that the Bank appoints Administrators under the
terms of its security and await their appointment.
