Futura Technologies Appoints Vice President of Strategic
                       Operations
                            
Medisys is pleased to announce that Joseph Costa has been
appointed  as  Vice  President Strategic  Operations  for
Futura  Medical  Technologies  Inc,  the  Group's  safety
syringe business.

Prior  to  his appointment Mr Costa had spent nine  years
with  Becton Dickinson & Company ("BD"), the world market
leader  in  the supply of hypodermic syringes,  where  he
held  a  number of sales and marketing roles  within  the
Medical Systems and Vacutainer businesses.  Most recently
he was Director of Marketing with responsibility for BD's
safety syringes and other sharps protection products.

David  Wong, Chief Executive Officer of Medisys said:  "A
strong  in-house  team is an important component  of  our
marketing strategy for the Futura safety syringe and I am
pleased  that  we  have been able to attract  someone  of
Joe's calibre and background to fill this important post.
He  brings  with  him a strong track  record  in  medical
safety product marketing and his experience with BD  will
be  extremely valuable to the Group as we plan the market
launch  of  the  Futura safety syringe  and  beyond.   In
addition,  one of Joe's key responsibilities will  be  to
explore   opportunities  for  strategic  alliances   with
potential marketing partners."
