Placing of shares



Galleon Holdings plc ("Galleon" or the "Company"), the multi media company,
today announces that it has placed 13,050,000 new ordinary shares (with the same
number of 2 year warrants exercisable at 1 pence) at a placing price of 1 pence
per share (the "Placing").



Subsequent to the closing of the Placing, the Company has applied for the new
ordinary shares, which will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, to be
admitted to trading on AIM, and expects that admission will occur on Friday 23rd
July 2004.


Pursuant to sections 324 to 328 of the Companies Act 1985 and Rule 15 of the AIM 
Rules the following information falls to be disclosed:
