Chrysalis VCT plc announces that Robert Drummond has stepped down
from the chairmanship in order to play a part-time executive role in
the self-managed VCT's investment management company. The role will
initially be for a three month period.

Non-executive director, Peter Harkness, will chair the company on an
interim basis.

Mr Harkness said:  "Chrysalis has enjoyed an exceptional period of
success which includes a number of lucrative realisations and Robert
will be a significant resource for the management company. We will
re-assess the situation towards the end of the year."

Mr Drummond remains on the VCT Board.
