BTG PLC: NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES

BTG plc (LSE: BGC) today received notification, in accordance with sections 198-
202 of the Companies Act 1985, from Deutsche Bank AG, that Deutsche Bank and its
subsidiary companies have a notifiable interest of 11,133,791 Ordinary Shares of
BTG plc being 10.56% of the issued share capital.
