    Supplementary prospectus dated 10 July 2008 (the "Supplementary Prospectus") to the Base Prospectus dated 9 November 2007 relating to
the Programme for the Issuance of Debt Instruments established by Westpac Banking Corporation and WestpacTrust Securities NZ Limited (acting
through its London branch) and unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Westpac
