Heijmans to appoint Martika Jonk as supervisory director

Heijmans intends to appoint Martika Jonk as a member of the Board of Supervisory Directors. In accordance with the schedule of retirement by rotation, Mr Sjoerd van Keulen is due to stand down effective April 2019 and is ineligible for reappointment. In preparation, the Board of Supervisory Directors has decided to temporarily expand the Board to six members, create a vacancy for a sixth member, and to put forward a nomination for appointment to the Board of Supervisory Directors of Heijmans N.V.Martika Jonk (1959) is a partner in the law firm CMS Derks Star Busmann, member of the Supervisory Board of N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie, member of the Supervisory Council of St. Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein and member of the Supervisory Council of Catharina Hospital Eindhoven.At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on 6 December 2018, Ms Jonk will be nominated as a supervisory director of Heijmans N.V. for a period of over four years.
