H2Diesel Apppoints Connie Lausten Vice President of Regulatory and Legislative Affairs

HOUSTON, May 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- H2Diesel Holdings, Inc.
(OTC:HTWO) (BULLETIN BOARD: HTWO) today announced the appointment
of Connie Lausten as Vice President of Regulatory and Legislative
Affairs. Ms. Lausten will be responsible for working with senior
management to formulate and implement corporate regulatory and
legislative affairs policies and procedures and leading
interactions with regulatory bodies, governmental agencies, and
trade groups. She will help identify grant and public/private
partnership opportunities and work to advance H2Diesel's strategic
objectives. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Lausten served as
Manager of Federal Affairs for four years for National Grid USA,
one of the world's largest utilities. She was the lead Washington
representative for lobbying Congress and the Administration on
behalf of National Grid and its affiliate companies and monitored
priority issues including electric transmission, distribution,
international tax, pension, and labor policies. Ms. Lausten has
served at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and in Congress
on the Subcommittee for Energy Policy, Natural Resources &
Regulatory Affairs where she was instrumental in designing western
United States energy legislation which was subsequently implemented
by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. She is a recipient of
the American Society of Mechanical Engineer Congressional
Fellowship and served as Resources Legislative Assistant for
Representative Cal Dooley of California, a ranking member of the
Resources Subcommittee on Water and Power. Ms. Lausten's extensive
engineering background includes serving as a Senior Engineer for
Bechtel Power, Inc., one of the world's premier engineering,
construction and project management companies with annual revenues
of over $20 billion and 40,000 employees, where she engineered and
managed activities on renewable energy commercialization and
project development, including large-scale wind and modular
biopower systems for EnergyWorks LLC, a Bechtel affiliate, with
project development activities in India, Indonesia and Nepal. Ms.
Lausten also spent three years as an engineer with Alternative
Energy Development, Inc., a Maryland-based consulting and project
development firm as a renewable energy specialist assigned to the
World Bank's Asia Alternative Energy Unit where she provided
engineering and economic expertise. Ms. Lausten began her career as
a Consulting Engineer for the Center for Energy and the Environment
in Minneapolis. She is a Licensed Professional Engineer and
received a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in
Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. David
