MDS Pharma Services Hires Howard Moody as Vice-President of Information Technology

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA, June 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MDS Pharma
Services, a leading provider of innovative drug discovery and
development solutions, has named Howard Moody to the position of
Vice-President of Information Technology (IT). In this role, Mr.
Moody will be responsible for implementing effective IT
applications to improve processes, increase operational
efficiencies and fuel business growth in MDS Pharma Services. Mr.
Moody will report to MDS Pharma Services President David Spaight
and MDS Inc. Chief Information Officer (CIO) Tom Gernon. "As a

Moody's background combines Clinical Laboratory and Contract
Research Organization (CRO) experience with more than 30 years of
diverse IT positions. Before joining MDS, Mr. Moody was Chief
Information Officer at Medifacts International, a CRO in Rockville,
Maryland, where he was responsible for global information
technology and services. Prior to that role, he worked for
Churchill & Harriman, a pharmaceutical company in Princeton,
New Jersey, as a Senior Management Consultant. He spent five years
at Covance in Princeton, New Jersey, as Chief Information Officer
and Senior Vice-President. His experience also includes IT
leadership roles at Quest Diagnostics, SmithKline Beecham, and
Deluxe Data Systems. A native of New York, Mr. Moody earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the State University
of New York and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the
