Brookfield Bridge Lending Fund Inc. (the "Fund") has acquired, by way of a
short-form prospectus offering, 2,500,000 common shares ("Common Shares") of
Second Wave Petroleum Inc. at a price of $1.40 per Common Share. The Fund now
holds 31,592,120 Common Shares, or approximately 52.4% of the total issued and
outstanding Common Shares.
