Further to the announcement dated 21 November 2003 regarding the proposed
acquisition of all the shares in Gibson Holdings Ltd. not already owned by
Hunting (the "Acquisition"), the Board of Hunting announces that a shareholder
circular, convening an extraordinary general meeting to be held on Friday, 19
December 2003 to approve the Acquisition, is being posted to holders of ordinary
shares in Hunting today.

The shareholder circular will shortly be available to the public for inspection
during normal business hours on any weekday (Saturdays, Sundays and public
holidays excepted) at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility which
is situated at: Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary
