Trammell Crow Company (NYSE:TCC) announced today the signing of a property management and leasing contract with MetLife, Inc. for three premier high rise office buildings in the Southern U.S. The properties, totaling 3.4 million square feet, include: Wells Fargo Plaza in Houston, Texas; One Shell Square in New Orleans, Louisiana; and 100 Congress in Austin, Texas. Trammell Crow Company took over the management and leasing responsibilities of the three buildings beginning October 2, 2006. Commenting on the new business, Tony Long, Trammell Crow Company�s Regional Director for the Central U.S., stated, �The addition of these three premier Central Business District skyscrapers blends well with the more than 550 million square feet Trammell Crow Company already manages for investors and corporate clients throughout the world.� Mr. Long added, �This agreement is the culmination of years of complex discussions with MetLife and we are delighted about this relationship.� Wells Fargo Plaza in Houston is a 1.72 million square foot, 71-story office structure, which was completed in 1983. It boasts timeless architecture and is a prominent presence in the Houston skyline. One Shell Square is located in the Central Business District of New Orleans at 701 Poydras Street. It is a 51-story skyscraper completed in 1972, making it the tallest building in both the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana. Current occupancy of the building is approximately 92%.
