Specialty Retailer PETCO Selects Kenexa StoreFront to Automate Recruiting Kenexa's Retail Solution Designed to Help PETCO Screen and Hire Candidates Quickly and Effectively in More Than 750 Stores - WAYNE, Pa., May 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Kenexa(R), a provider of talent acquisition and retention solutions, today announced that San Diego, California-based PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. Kenexa StoreFront is an applicant tracking solution designed to support the high-volume recruiting of salary and hourly employees for retail environments. Kenexa StoreFront will help streamline recruiting for PETCO's regional offices and more than 750 stores located in 47 states throughout the United States. It will replace PETCO's existing paper-based process for in-store recruiting and its current applicant tracking solution, which supports regional office recruiting but does not have the functionality to support in- store recruiting. Kenexa StoreFront will be deployed in July 2005, providing candidates the option to apply for positions from a new career Web page accessible on the PETCO Web site at http://www.petco.com/ or at kiosks that will be available in 25 percent of PETCO stores this year. PETCO expects that kiosks will rolled out to all stores in 2006.
