Molex Cites Productive Meeting with French Governmental Advisors as First Step in Mediation Process

Molex Incorporated (NASDAQ: MOLX and
MOLXA), a global electronic components company, announced today
that Eric Doesburg, Director of Development, Molex and Marcus
Kerriou, Vice President of Human Resources, Molex Europe, have made
an initial contact today with Matthew Louvot, advisor of the French
President and Carine Kraus, advisor of the French Minister of
Industry, to discuss the mediation process started last week with
the appointment of Francis Latarche.

we hope will allow a resumption of dialogue with all parties. We
are confident in the prospects offered by mediation, which should
lead to a quick resolution in the best interests of employees and
of the company," said Kerriou.
Molex closed its manufacturing facility
in Villemur-sur-Tarn, on August 6, 2009 for security reasons,
following an outbreak of violence at the site.
A first meeting between the leadership
of Molex and the mediator Latarche Francis will take place in the
coming days.
