The Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs has launched their newly redesigned website at http://www.minorityaffairs.wv.gov.

The new design allows visitors to quickly find information about resources and events provided by the Office of Minority Affairs. Visitors to the redesigned website can:

  • Locate state services and resource guides
  • Find upcoming events
  • Submit information for serving on a State Government Board or Commission
  • View information for the MLK Commission

The redesigned website also features links to the Office of Minority Affairs’ social media sites including Twitter and Flickr accounts.

“It was important to us to redesign the website to make it more user friendly and as helpful as possible,” said Dr. Carolyn Stuart, Executive Director, Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs. “Our mission is to provide forums for discussion of minority issues and our website plays a major role in facilitating that.”

The Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs was established in 2012 by Governor Earl Ray Tomblin with the goal of advancing an agenda of equality for minorities across the state. Please visit http://www.minorityaffairs.wv.gov for more information.

The online service was developed at no additional cost by the Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs in partnership with WV.gov.
