Arkansas’ Boone County Offers New Options for Property Tax Payments

Residents can avoid lines by paying taxes
online, via phone
It will be easier than ever for residents of Boone County to pay
their property taxes this year. The Tax Collector’s Office recently
announced that it is accepting credit card payments, meaning
residents can avoid lines at the Collector’s Office and pay their
taxes online or from any mobile device.
“I am proud to offer Boone county residents convenient ways to
pay their Personal Property and Real Estate taxes online,” Boone
County Tax Collector Lavonne McCullough said. “We are always
looking for ways to make the tax process easier for citizens and
help them avoid long lines.”
Property tax payment options now available to Boone County
residents include:

from any smartphone or tablet
3. Phone, by calling 1-866-257-2055, County Code: 5 4. In-Person,
by making a credit card, cash or check payment at the Tax
Collector’s office, 201 N. Main St. (Old Federal Building),
Harrison, AR 72601 5. Mail, by sending a check to the Tax
Collector’s office, P.O. Box 1152, Harrison, AR 72602
The Boone County Tax Collector partnered with the state’s
eGovernment service provider, Information Network of Arkansas
(INA), to develop a secure payment system that ensures privacy,
security and data integrity. Credit card transactions include a
processing fee to cover the cost of the system, which INA developed
for the county free of charge.
Boone County Personal Property and Real Estate taxes are due by
October 15. Residents can view their bill and pay online by going
to http://www.ar.gov/booneproptax to look up their Tax Payer
information. The system will prompt residents through payment
screens and provide a confirmation and receipt page for their
records. Payments may also continue to be made in person at the
Collector’s Office in Harrison or by mailing a check to the Boone
County Tax Collector.
