Analog Devices Announces New Chief Compliance and Business Ethics Officer

Analog Devices, Inc. (NYSE: ADI) a global leader in

today announced the appointment of William A. Wise to the newly
created position of Chief Compliance and Business Ethics Officer,
reporting to the Board of Director's Nominating and Corporate
Governance Committee. Mr. Wise has been with Analog Devices for the
past 18 years and was responsible for instituting the Company's
compliance program. He will now devote himself full time to a
compliance and ethics role. In this newly created position, Mr.
Wise will utilize his legal experience to oversee regulatory
compliance and ensure company-wide adherence to all corporate
standards of business conduct, ethics, and regulatory requirements.

played an integral role in ensuring the tenets of our code are an

ethical standards." Mr. Wise holds a J.D. from Suffolk University
Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern
University. Mr. Wise serves as an adjunct professor at several
universities and was the recipient of the American Bar
Association's Litigation Committee's Pro Bono Award in 2002 and the
New England Chapter of the Corporate Counsel Association of
America's Outstanding In-house Attorney Award in 2005. Innovation,
