Chennai, 27 October 2011. Photon Kathaas Productions Ltd. (AIM: PKP, "Photon Kathaas", "the Company"), the South Indian film company, was notified on 26 October 2011 that Michael Rosenberg, Chairman and non-executive director of the Company, had acquired 10,000 Ordinary Shares in the capital of the Company through his personal pension fund in which he is the sole beneficiary at a price of 0.4275 per share. The transaction took place on 26 October 2011.

Prior to the transaction Mr Rosenberg was interested in a total of 106,412 Ordinary Shares in the Company.

Following the transaction Mr Rosenberg is interested in a total of 116,412 Ordinary Shares in the Company representing 0.54% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

Rahman has won two Academy Awards (Slumdog Millionaire), 25 Filmfare Awards, four Indian National Film Awards, a Bafta Award, two Golden Globes and two Grammy Awards.
