Notifiable interest

The Company was informed by a letter dated 26 September 2002 that Schroder
Investment Management Limited has an interest in 2,125,540 ordinary shares in
the Company.  The shares are held in portfolios managed by Schroder Investment
Management Limited on a discretionary basis for clients under investment
management arrangements.

The Company was also informed that, of those 2,125,540 ordinary shares in the
Company, 20,000 are registered in the name of Schroder Nominees Limited (a
wholly owned subsidiary company of Schroder Investment Management Limited),
2,030,540 are held in a unit trust operated and managed by Schroder Unit Trusts
Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary company of Schroder Investment Management
Limited) and registered or to be registered in the name of Chase Nominees
Limited, Limited, 20,000 are registered in the name of Chase Manhattan Bank
Limited, 45,000 are registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited and 10,000
are registered in the name of RBSTB Nominees Limited.

The Company was further informed that, Schroder Investment Management North
America Limited (SIMNA Ltd), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Schroder Investment
Management Limited, is managing on a discretionary basis (a) portoflio(s)
holding a further 50,000 shares.  These shares are registered or to be
registered in the name of Chase Nominee Limited.

Therefore, Schroder Investment Management Limited, through their subsidiary and
affiliated company are interested in an overall aggregate of 2,175,540 shares,
representing some 12.076% of the total number of shares in issue.
