Home Entertainment Corporation PLC ("HEC" or the "Company")

TUESDAY, 25 January 2005 -- The Company was today advised that Iain Muspratt,
Geoffrey Hopkins and Diane Gardner ("Founder Shareholders") have granted options
over a number of their ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company to Anthony
Skitt and Gerard Barclay.

The terms of the options allow Anthony Skitt and Gerard Barclay to acquire the
following number of Founder Shareholders ordinary shares of 5p each in the
Company at no cost, on either of; the completion of five years service, or the
takeover of the business.
