The Company was notified today that Peter Porteous, the Chief Executive of the
Company, yesterday purchased 100,000 ordinary shares at a price of 15.25 pence
per share in the Company.

Following this purchase Mr Porteous holds 200,000 ordinary shares in Freeplay
Energy PLC, representing approximately 0.4 per cent of the Company's issued
ordinary share capital.
