On 28 August 2014, the Board of European Real Estate Investment Trust Limited ("the Company") announced that EUR1.25 million insurance consideration had been received for fire damage caused to the property in Murcia, Spain and that the tenant, Panrico, had agreed to purchase the Murcia property for EUR1.9 million, payable in 18 instalments, with the transaction likely to complete in September 2014. Due to the need to fulfil certain conditions prior to the completion of the Murcia sale to Panrico, the completion of the transaction has been delayed from September 2014 and is now expected to take place in February 2015.
