Eastern Platinum Limited (the 'Company'): Issue of Equity

The Company (TSX & AIM: ELR) announces that application has been made for a
total of 7,042,500  common shares to be  admitted to trading on AIM in relation
to the exercise of warrants and options for 4,042,500 shares, and 3,000,000 
shares in respect of partial consideration for the Company's 49% Interest in
Afriminerals, as previously announced on  22 August 2006.  Full details of the
options and warrants exercised are outlined below:

-          3,780,000 warrants exercised on 17 March 2007 at C$1.50
-          37,500 options exercised on 26 February 2007 at C$1.12
-          125,000 options exercised on 9 March 2007 at C$1.00
-          100,000 options exercised on 30 March 2007 at C$1.70

Dealings are expected to commence on or around 23 May 2007.

In correction of the announcement on 14 May 2007, the total number of issued and
outstanding common shares is 638,192,416, not 641,525,813.
