                     Board changes - additional disclosure


Following the appointment of George Fotiades and Richard Miller to the board of
the company on 16 December 2003, Intercare announces that other than the matter
referred to below there are no details that are required to be disclosed under
paragraphs 16.4(a) or (b) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority in
connection with those appointments.


George Fotiades is a director of ProLogis, a company listed on the New York
Stock Exchange.
