ROSEVILLE, Calif., Sept. 19, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author
Kay E. Thomson introduces readers to
God's peace in Finding JOY in the Midst of Grief: Continuing in
God's Loving Grip Through the Loss of a Loved One ($15.49, paperback, 9781609579135; $5.99, e-book, 9781612150932).
Thomson began writing a nightly blog for her friends and family
while her husband was battling Parkinson's and Stage 4 cancer.
Those months, though immensely difficult, brought them closer than
ever before. After her husband's death, her readers encouraged her
to write a book and she accepted the opportunity to encourage
others struggling with grief and dramatic life changes.
"This book will give insight as to how you can find peace, joy
and acceptance as you also learn that God has not frowned on you or
abandoned you but that He is ever present. He will show you a new
purpose, if you seek Him," said Thomson.
Kay Thomson worked for over 15
years as the assistant to Church Music Pastors and finished her
administrative career in the high-tech industry where she supported
Vice Presidents and Directors for 35 years. Since losing her
husband of 44 years, she has formed and led support groups for
others dealing with grief and loss. Thomson currently serves in her
home church in Roseville, CA.
