PrimeWest Energy Trust Announces Distribution Level for April, 2004 and Annual Information Form Filing CALGARY, March 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- (TSX: PWI.UN; PWX; NYSE: PWI) - PrimeWest Energy Trust (PrimeWest) today announces that the distribution payable April 15th, 2004 will be $0.25 Canadian per trust unit payable to all unitholders of record on March 22nd, 2004. The ex-distribution date will be March 18th, 2004. Using a Canadian dollar to U.S. dollar exchange ratio of 1.32, this distribution amount would be approximately U.S.$0.19. The actual U.S. dollar equivalent distribution will be based upon the actual U.S./Canadian exchange rate applied on the payment date net of applicable Canadian withholding taxes. PrimeWest also announces thesimultaneous filing of its Annual Information Form (AIF) on the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR) in Canada, and on the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) system in the United States. The AIF containssupplemental disclosure including detailed reserves information as mandated by National Instrument 51-101. The Net Reserves table previously disclosed on page 13 of the release of February 20th has been revised by the Trust's Independent Engineers to reflect certain line item changes, although the reserves closing balances remain the same. The revised version of the table can be found on page 25 of the AIF.
