Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics (OTCQB:LCDX), formerly Lucid, Inc., has received the "Product of the Year 2013" Award from the German journal Aesthetic Dermatology for its VivaScope® system.

In an award feature titled "Confocal laser scanning microscopy: Renowned office diagnostics with integrated dermoscopy offers highest certainty," the journal notes: "The VivaScope 1500 unit and the mobile VivaScope 3000 handheld unit ... offer modern, in-vivo diagnostics for sophisticated offices." After describing the operation of VivaScope, the feature continues: "This enables comprehensive diagnostics of the highest degree. With regard to the early detection of skin cancer, the number of excisions is thus decreased with comparable certainty." The feature includes testimonials about VivaScope from six medical professionals in Germany.
