Accenture PLC said Thursday it expects foreign exchange to keep hurting revenue in the next fiscal year.

The Dublin-based consulting firm said its business outlook for the 2023 fiscal year assumes the foreign-exchange impact on its results in U.S. dollars will be about negative 6% compared with the prior year.

The company said it expects revenue growth between 8% and 11% in local currency for fiscal 2023.

Accenture said it expects FX to have a negative impact of about 8.5% in the fiscal first quarter, compared with a year earlier.

Accenture said foreign currency conversion had a negative impact of 7.5% on revenue in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022, which ended Aug. 31, compared with an assumption of a negative 8% impact.

For fiscal 2022, the negative impact of FX was reported at 4%.
