announced that Universal Insurance Company, a member of The Seibels
Bruce Group, Inc., has selected EasyLink's Document Capture &
Management Service to provide workflow services for their most
critical business processes. Universal Insurance Company, a North
Carolina-based property and casualty company, selected EasyLink's
Document Capture and Management Service to digitize, store and
index faxed insurance documents related to Underwriting and Policy
Administration. The service will provide Universal Insurance
Company with an easy to use document image database and secure web
viewer that will store Underwriting and Policy Administration
documents and allow customer service representatives to easily
search using specific indices. By using this service, Universal
Insurance Company is able to provide a bridge between manual
processes, such as fax, and an automated backend system, without
