                            OUTCOME OF DISCUSSIONS


On 30 March 2001, the Board of Miller Fisher Group plc ("the Group"), the
provider of support services to the insurance and financial services
industries, confirmed that preliminary discussions were continuing with
potentially interested parties that might or might not lead to an offer being
made for the Group, and that shareholders would be informed of the outcome of
these discussions in due course.


The Board has concluded that further continuation of these discussions is
unlikely to result in proposals that it could recommend being put to
shareholders in a reasonable period of time. The Board wishes to end this
period of uncertainty and accordingly these discussions have now been
terminated.


The Board of Miller Fisher believes that the Group's strategy of developing
third party administration and support services for the insurance and
financial services industries remains soundly based and will deliver benefits
to shareholders over the medium term.
