CNX Gas Promotes Buford Myers and Samuel McLaughlin

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CNX Gas Corporation
(NYSE: CXG) announced today the promotions of Buford Myers,
currently General Manager - Virginia Operations and Samuel
McLaughlin, currently General Manager - Northern Appalachia
Operations to Vice President - Virginia Operations and Vice
President - Northern Appalachia Operations, respectively. (Logo:

his career in 1974 with CONSOL Energy and soon thereafter earned a
degree in electrical engineering technology from Bluefield State
College. From 1974 to 1992 Buford held various positions with
CONSOL in Central Appalachia. In 1992 Buford accepted the position
of Chief Electrical Supervisor with CNX Gas and in that capacity
was responsible for all of the electrical engineering efforts for
CNX Gas in Central Appalachia. In 2007 Buford was promoted to
General Manager - Virginia Operations. In 1980, Sam began his
career with CONSOL Energy as a summer student. After graduating
from West Virginia University in 1983 with a degree in mining
engineering, Sam joined CONSOL on a full time basis and held
various coal mine management roles ranging from section foreman to
assistant superintendent. In 2005 Sam joined CNX Gas as a
Production Manager and in 2006 assumed the role of General Manager
- Northern Appalachia Operations. "Both Buford and Sam have been
instrumental in the development and success of CNX Gas," said
