Carlisle Group Limited announces acquisition of shares

Belize City, Belize, February 16, 2007. Carlisle Group Limited (London: CXG)
(the "Company") announces that it acquired 245,000 ordinary shares in the
Company at an average price of 104.9 pence per share on February 14, 2007.

The Company's holding in treasury shares following this acquisition amounts to
945,000 ordinary shares. Following the transaction, the total number of the
Company's ordinary shares in issue with voting rights is 23,121,660 ordinary
shares.
