Aeroports de Paris, which operates the French capital commercial airports, Thrusday said its Chief Executive Augustin de Romanet introduced a plan to cut as many as 370 jobs through voluntary departures to the company's labor unions.

MAIN FACTS:

- The company will propose to trade unions to open a negotiation, that would be about, at the maximum, 370 positions of the parent company Aéroports de Paris. It would take place on the basis of volunteerism only by, basically, end-of-career leaves and by the support of personal projects (setting up of new businesses or retraining to other activities).

- The plan's implementation would be carried out in spring 2014.

- "In order to comply with the 2011-2015 Economic Regulation Agreement and to take into account the new aviation sector environment, Aeroports de Paris sets up a new human resources policy," Mr. de Romanet said.

- The implementation of this strategy would lead the setting up of a multiannual recruitment plan in passengers handling positions (120 employees) and in technical and maintenance trades (60 employees) along with a project of voluntary departure plan.

- Aeroports de Paris employs 9,035 workers.
