Digital Learning Management Expands Educational Platform to Offer
Foreign Nursing Coursework and Job Placement Projected Nursing
Shortage Positions Company to Potentially Capture Millions in
Revenues From Placement and Education of Foreign Nurses in the U.S.
LOS ANGELES, July 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Digital Learning
Management Corporation (Digital) (OTC:DGTL) (BULLETIN BOARD: DGTL)
today announced that it will be offering over 200 hours of
preparatory coursework for Certified Graduate Foreign Nursing
Students (CGFNS). Zeb Bhatti, CEO of Digital commented, "Currently
the U.S. finds itself in the midst of a nursing shortage that is
expected to intensify as baby boomers age and the need for health
care grows. Enrollment in domestic nursing schools has decreased
steadily for the last 8 years, creating opportunities for education
and placement of foreign nurses within the U.S." He added, "The
market is potentially very large, with placement fees for qualified
nurses ranging anywhere from $7,000 to $22,000 per nurse."
According to the latest projections from the U.S. Bureau of Labor
Statistics published in the February 2004 Monthly Labor Review,
more than one million new and replacement nurses will be needed by
2012. For the first time, the U.S. Department of Labor has
identified Registered Nursing as the top occupation in terms of job
growth through the year 2012.
http://www.bls.gov/news.release/ecopro.toc.htm Bhatti continued,
"Offering the CGFNS coursework online positions Digital strongly
within this growing market. Nurses who take our courses receive our
money-back guarantee that they will pass the certification exam,
because there are more than 1,000 practice questions included in
the courseware. As we produce an inventory of qualified nurses, we
will be able to place them and receive fees which, if we capture
only a small percentage of the market, could produce substantial
revenue." About Digital Learning Management The Company is a
