Energy Management International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ENMI) announces today that it has negotiated a Joint Venture agreement with Franklin Mining, Inc. to expand its development of oil and gas projects in South America and to make available the services of McGuffy International Company, an affiliate of the McGuffy Group, located in Houston, Texas and offices in Bolivia.

Energy Management International's President Howard Dunn states that the Franklin Mining CEO William A. Petty has a long history working in South America, particularly Bolivia, and has been working with the Energy Management team intensely during the last six months in developing critical pathways to establish our downstream petroleum presence in South America. As part of the Joint Venture agreement, Energy Management may assist in the construction management phase of the work and will be contracted for operations. Mr. Petty, working out of offices in Santa Cruz and La Paz, Bolivia, anticipates that within a short period of time, Energy Management, through its Joint Venture partnership and affiliate network, will have an opportunity to respond to solicitations for installation of one or more LPG plants.

Through the agreement with McGuffy International, McGuffy will be able to provide and assist with services required for the design, construction, re-commissioning, and operations that may be required in a future contract award to install a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or gas separation facility.
