Danish renewable-energy company Orsted AS said Monday it has agreed to acquire the Ford County Wind onshore wind farm in Illinois, U.S. from funds managed by Ares Management Corporation.

The acquisition of the 121 megawatt wind farm is expected to be finalized later this year upon receipt of customary regulatory approvals, it said.

Ford County Wind brings Orsted's onshore U.S. capacity--in operation and under construction--to approximately 4.4 gigawatts, it added.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.
