Explanation of Responses:
1. Represents restricted shares of the Issuer's Class A common stock granted to the reporting person upon earning a portion of Performance Restricted Stock Units ("Performance RSUs") originally granted on May 9, 2022 pursuant to the Arlington Asset Investment Corp. 2021 Long-Term Incentive Plan. Performance RSUs represent the right to receive shares of the issuer's Class A common stock subject to the achievement of certain performance goals during the applicable performance period. These restricted shares of the Issuer's Class A common stock will vest ratably beginning on May 9, 2025, May 9, 2026 and May 9, 2027.
